Narrative Work

There is nothing like bringing the ideas of the scripted page to the reality of the film screen. In the safe confines of the frame lines lies the dreams of the director, producers and writers - and it is precisely those dreams with which I aspire to bring to reality.

With over a decade in the business of bringing dreams to the screen, there is no situation I am not familiar with. In my early career as an assistant camera, I learned the fine arts of the craft of dream-making. Having moved up in the ranks I draw upon the resources of the past with new technologies of the future to bring about the reality of images on the screen.

Narrative Samples

Second 35mm

Second

This short film, about a couple meeting for the first time at a party, was shot on 35mm film in a single night. The images you see here are from the one-light dailies print, but they looked so good (and the director couldnt afford more), that we decided to keep them.

Only Kidding 16mm

Only Kidding

Hired to shoot an actors piece, we decided to shoot on 16mm, for the true filmic look and the quality. This snippet Shows how creative camera movement with actor performance can transform a scene.

Lured Innocence 35mm Feature Film

Lured Innocennce

I was hired to shoot the opening sequence and location work in Phoenix, Arizona. Just the director, actor and I working together.

FastMax TV pilot

Fast Max

This action sequence was shot in a matter of hours under high winds and the beating sun. Even that didnt stop us from putting together a great fight scene.
